Madelyn Dunham, Obama's grandmother and the woman who mostly raised him, died today of cancer, the New York Times reports.
Remember the conservative pundits criticizing Obama for "suspending his campaign" because his Toot had a bruised hip? Well, turns out she had cancer. I guess the Republicans have real reasons to be cynical anyone announces they're suspending their campaign.
Terrible news-- but couldn't she have waited another day!??!?!?
Although the anticipation's killing me, too.
